Please Note

  • For the Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge portion of the tour departure time is 8:30am from Pioneer Courthouse Square at 750 SW Broadway, near the corner of SW Broadway and SW Yamhill. Please arrive no later than 8:15am to exchange your voucher for a ticket at our Gray Line/Big Pink Sightseeing sales booth on Square and board the coach across the street in front of Nordstroms.
  • Reservations for the Deluxe Combination Tour are required.
  • Children from 0 to 5 years of age are free.

Restrictions

This tour does not operate on June 2 and June 9 due to parades in downtown Portland. Due to downtown events the Big Pink Sightseeing Trolley portion of the tour has a late start or a shortened route on August 12 and September 16. A revised schedule will be available at the sales booth on those days. The Multnomah Falls portion of the tour will depart as scheduled at 8:30 am on those days.

Very enjoyable tout of the Multnomah Falls area and sites that we woudln’t have thought about on our own. The hop on hop off trolley was an excellent way to get an overview of Portland and provided opportunities for a deeper dive in areas of interest.

Joining us on the Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge portion of the Combination Tour, you will experience the Rose City’s most renowned nature escape, the world famous Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This half day tour showcases the incredible diversity of scenery at Portland’s doorstep.

Travel along the historic Columbia River Highway with panoramic views from hundreds of feet above the river at Crown Point and the historic Vista House. Descend through the famous highway loops to pristine Latourell Falls, a beautiful photo stop. Travel past Wahkeena Falls to Oregon’s most famous natural attraction – Multnomah Falls and Lodge. See the Oneonta Gorge and Horsetail Falls enroute to the Bonneville Dam and fish ladder, a national historic site in the splendid heart of the Gorge.

Return to Portland along the river level route of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and enjoy the unfolding panorama, including Beacon Rock, Cape Horn and Rooster Rock, all sights first noted by the famous explorers over 200 years ago.

    • Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour
      Depending on your schedule you can use your trolley passes on your return from the Falls that same day and the next day or on the two days after your Falls tour. When exchanging your voucher please advise the sales booth staff of which days you want to use your trolley pass so the correct tickets can be provided. The Trolley operates hourly from Pioneer Courthouse Square. See the schedule below.

      First Departure: 10:00am in May, June, September, October
      First Departure: 9:00am in July and August
      Last departure leaves at 4:00pm returning at 5:29pm

      Stop 9 - Chinese Garden with Light Rail access to the Oregon Convention Center - 57 minutes after each hour
      Stop 10 - Old Town - 0 minutes after each hour

      Stop 12 - Aerial Tram and Tilikum Crossing with Light Rail access to OMSI - 9 minutes after each hour - (first time each day 11:09/10:09 July-August)

      In the late afternoon some of the later stops may be delayed slightly due to heavy traffic.

      A non-consecutive two day pass is available for use within a 5 day time period. When you initially redeem your voucher at our ticket booth please request a non-consecutive two day pass. We will provide you with the current day pass and request that you return to the booth for your second day pass when you want to use it.

We do not pick up at the hotels. Our easy to find boarding location is in the center of downtown Portland at Pioneer Courthouse Square at 750 SW Broadway, near the corner of SW Broadway and SW Yamhill.
The Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge portion of the tour departs at 8:30am so please arrive no later than 8:15am to exchange your voucher for your Multnomah tour ticket and your two day trolley pass ticket with current time schedule at our Gray Line/Big Pink Sightseeing ticket booth on the Square.
The coach and trolleys board across the street from the booth in front of Nordstrom's.
